Well at least Yuuhi won and seemed cool. I am not gonna lie I was worried that they would sacrifice him yet again to give Epoch a win but glad that they didn’t. It is not the big win that Yuuhi needs but he won which is way better than him losing yet again especially to a beginner

Also I don’t know if they even want to us to take this supposed group seriously or not but sorry I am not gonna take a group that turns aliens to furniture seriously. Their premise alone is a joke. This arc should honestly just focus on the tournament instead of trying to force villains into it

You must've never seen Edens Zero. They had a similar premise and it was played very seriously and worked.

Yes I have not. After the dumpster fire that was Fairy tail I have no faith in the author to start Edens zero that even has him copying his character designs from Fairy tail.

There's about 3 good arcs in FT and 2 of them were pretty late on.

Fairy Tail was great and reusing character designs is a way to instantly connect with new characters.
Edens Zero is growing on me, though I do miss Wendy and wish she would return in some manner in EZ.

We don't know how it will be played yet, with Bridge Yu-Gi-Oh! anything is possible. We can't just dismiss the possibility it'll work.

Fairy tail stopped being great ever since the 7 year time skip and only became worse as it went on. It is a trash show filled with nonsense, power of friendship, characters never dying and similar things

As for Go rush, I am not the biggest fan of reused designs in the first place though there is at least the point of them being the ancestors of the seven casts now

The issues Fairy Tail got after the time skip was due to the damn author constantly teasing all of the fan's ships, when he by his own admission had no intention of starting relationships between them. This caused him to change the story off the original objective such that he no longer knew how to get the original message across each arc.
That said if he had kept the story simple power of friendship logic would have worked fine, but he added complicated elements for seemingly no reason.
It doesn't make Fairy Tail bad, just not as good as it could have been.

Go Rush and Yu-Gi-Oh! in general (Including Gallop) has lots of power of friendship content. Yet you still seem to be a fan of it.

You didn't even believe that Go Rush was a prequel at first, yet you still didn't mind. Your standards seem so inconsistent.

Not that bad but it gives the idea of the writer is trying to bait their audience with nostalgia rather than something fresh and this indicates a likelihood of reusing the same things as well such as similar characters similar plots and making the same mistakes.....

He already reused a lot of character designs from Rave, his previous work, for Fairy.
And I'm with you on that, I have zero faith in him after what he did to Fairy Tail, which I did like a lot at the beginning.

I'm excited to see another Dinois episode is next after more than 20 episodes. I know she's not played as a major character but I just love bratty lolis. Hmm, guess that's why I like Epoch and this episode. It gave Yuuhi a much needed exhibition of his abilities and skill as a duelist and Epoch some very nice character spots. I am a very happy panda after this episode. I am also excited for the next episode.

So, it's a bridge arc I guess. Unless Otes highjacks the end again. At least there is explanation on how the ancestors start to make their home on Earth

I dont know what about you, but Tiger is a strong duelist that never resort to cheating and during her second Rush Duel against Yuga she took no damage at all.

Interesting characters is much more important than non-cheating duelists.

I didnt say that Epoch isnt intersting, but we're in the Rush Duels era where you dont need to cheat in order to win.
I just hope that Epoch's character development will be handled better from now on.

I'm fine with a inexperienced child with a aversion to rush dueling to cheat a little.
